Our on-camera acting classes focus on the technical aspects of working in front of the camera and on set of a film or television show. Using all that we teach in our other courses, and rooting our technique in the authentic use of self, we are proud to teach actors how to connect the craft to the camera without using tricks or shortcuts in valuable, affordable on camera acting classes.

All actors must know how to deal with the technical aspects of working in front of the camera. But the best actors are able to handle the technical without it affecting their investment in the scene. Master on-camera techniques in this class so that you can live freely each take.

John Pallotta offers his actors opportunities they won’t find in any other acting class, including intensive camera work and on-set, on-location study, where students get a chance to explore all facets of film work, from lighting, sound, location scouting and directing to working with each other on camera on a professional set. You put all this together and the result, we’ve found, is students coming out of our studio more prepared for not just the business, but life in general.

John Pallotta is passionate about helping students develop their craft and gain valuable performance skills through individual attention and implementing quality techniques for improving voice, diction, breath work, movement as well as the technical aspects of working with the camera .

We provide a space where students can gain confidence in owning their unique craft through practical steps toward developing the work ethnic necessary for achieving a successful career in film, television, and theatre. We also help students connect to an expanding network of industry professionals who can help them make the right connections along the way.

PHASE I

This on-set, on-camera class is for ALL actors who are new to our studio, including actors new to film acting and very experienced film actors. This is advanced film acting for actors of all levels.

PHASE II

This on-set, on-camera class is for actors who have completed Phase I and are approved to move on to Phase II. Comedy is introduced in Phase 2. Multiple character types and genres are worked on during the month.

For actors who have completed both Phase I and Phase II workshops and are working professional actors. Our actors can ask to be on our waiting list after completing Phase I and II successfully.
